Feral Interactive ha ufficializzato la data di rilascio del game Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Ultimate Edition in versione per Mac. Il titolo, sviluppato da Eidos Montreal e pubblicato da Square Enix in relazione alle edizioni per PC e le console HD, sarà disponibile per i sistemi Apple a partire dal prossimo 26 aprile.

Inoltre, Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Ultimate Edition per Mac - che, in accordo a David Stephen di Interactive, rappresenterà un nuovo step evolutivo nel Mac gaming - sarà una versione completa del gioco, arricchita dalle espansioni "Explosive Mission" e "Tactical Enhancement" e dal DLC "The Missing Link".

Il costo del game sarà pari a €39.99 in Europa e a $49.99 in Nord America; inoltre, sarà scaricabile on line mediante un ampio set di siti, tra i quali il Feral store e il Mac App Store.

I requisiti hardware e software minimi di Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Ultimate Edition includono un Mac Intel-based con cpu a 2GHz, 4GB di RAM, una scheda grafica con 256MB e il Sistema Operativo Mac OS X 10.7.3.

Feral Interactive confirmed that first-person role-playing game Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Ultimate Edition will be released for the Mac on Thursday, April 26th. Developed by Eidos Montreal e pubblicato da Square Enix per le edizioni per PC, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a prequel to the legendary Deus Ex (2000).

The Mac release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Ultimate Edition will be a complete version of the game, containing the Explosive Mission and Tactical Enhancement packs and The Missing Link DLC.

"This is the next step in Mac gaming," said David Stephen, Managing Director of Feral Interactive.

Set in 2027, Deus Ex: Human Revolution immerses players in a world where amoral corporations market biomechanical modifications that blur the boundary between man and machine. The player controls Adam Jensen, the security chief of biotech company Sarif Industries, who has been forced to undergo extensive cybernetic augmentation after a terrorist attack on the company.

To find those responsible, the player must explore the full potential of Adam's augmented body and develop it to suit their playing style. Every situation can be approached either by focusing on one of the four pillars of gameplay - combat, stealth, hacking and social - or by deploying an artful combination of all four.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution's engrossing plot puts players in strikingly inventive visions of Detroit, Shanghai and Montreal, where they must scrutinize everything to uncover the secrets behind a global conspiracy that threatens everyone, from the purely human underclass to the augmented elite.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution has enjoyed huge critical and commercial success on its original release platforms. The Windows version has an average Metacritic rating of 90 out of 100 and has sold over 3 million units to date.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Ultimate Edition for the Mac will retail in North America for US $49.99, £34.99 (inc. VAT) in the UK and €39.99 (inc. VAT) throughout Europe. The following graphics cards are not supported: ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, NVIDIA 9400, NVIDIA 7xxx series, NVIDIA 320M, Intel HD3000 and Intel GMA series.
