MSI ha ampliato la propria offerta in termini di SSD introducendo la linea di unità a stato solido NVMe in formato M.2 e con interfaccia PCIe 4.0 denominata SPATIUM M450.
Attualmente la serie SPATIUM M450 comprende tre differenti modelli, tutti realizzati con l'ausilio di memoria flash di tipo 3D NAND, i quali sono caratterizzati da una capacità pari rispettivamente a 50GB, 500GB e 1TB.
In accordo al produttore, queste drive possono raggiungere la velocità massima di 3600MB/s in lettura e a 3000MB/s, considerando lo scenario sequenziale, mentre assicurano un buon livello di correzione degli errori e di integrità dei dati in virtù del supporto delle tecnologie LPDC ECC e E2E Data Protection.
