PATRIOT ha annunciato la linea di drive SSD denominata P400 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe M.2 che al momento include due differenti modelli caratterizzati rispettivamente da una capacità di memorizzazione pari a 512MB e 1TB.
Come si intuisce dalla denominazione commerciale dei prodotti, i nuovi drive a stato solido di PATRIOT sono realizzati in accordo al form factor M.2 (2280), hanno una interfaccia verso il mondo di tipo PCIe Gen4 x4 e supportano NVMe (1.3).
PATRIOT ha sottolineato, inoltre, che i nuovi SSD P400 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe M.2 offrono prestazioni pari al doppio di quelle ottenibili dalla precedente generazione, che utilizza una interfaccia PCIe Gen3 x4, a fronte di un consumo di potenza ridotto.
Inoltre, poichè queste unità sono equipaggiate con un sistema di raffreddamento realizzato con il grafene, in virtù delle eccellenti qualità di questo materiale come conduttore di calore, risultano essere idonee per il montaggio nei notebook, ovvero in condizioni di spazio limitato.
